Wheels and Tires
Every LTi is outfitted with our standard 43-inch diameter, 14.4-inch wide, 14 ply Goodyear military duty tires which dramatically increase both traction and ground clearance. The 43-inch military tire is designed to carry very heavy loads even when aired down to as little as 11 PSI. This tire and wheel combination boost the LTi minimum ground clearance to a massive 12.5 inches, as well as eliminates the factory dual rear wheels and solves the common problems of tracking poorly and getting flats when rocks become lodged in between the tires.
Suspension
Air ride suspension is standard on each LTi. Air bags at each corner provide the ability to raise and lower each wheel or axle independently with the touch of a button within the chassis. This greatly improves ground clearance and approach/departure angles and allows easy in-camp leveling. The suspension is outfitted with adjustable King remote reservoir shocks which are custom designed to work cohesively with the air ride suspension. Heavy duty anti-sway bars are added front and rear to improve on road handling characteristics. This combination provides excellent handling both on and off road.
Compressed Air System
A standard on-board air system combines a high capacity DC air compressor with an air storage tank, multiple quick connect outlets and even an air horn! This makes it easy to air tires up, run air tools, or inflate your raft or kayak.
