2016 was the 12th annual Owners’ Rally and a gorgeous trek through northern Colorado and Wyoming. Our group met up just outside Steamboat Springs, CO and traveled together through pastoral country roads and the golden fields of late summer. We enjoyed private access through one of Colorado’s largest and oldest continuously owned family ranches, with epic views for days. Next, we ventured into the wide open spaces of Wyoming, with vast blue skies and far off horizons. Our route continued north and headed into the Snowy Range of Wyoming, with massive granite walls and pristine alpine lakes all around. We camped at 10,000 feet and slept to the sounds of moose bugling and the yipping of coyotes. Our last day brought us full circle back to the Steamboat Springs area. EarthRoamer President Tyler Tatro hosted a winching and spare tire removal course, and later Colorado Musician, Paul Kimbiris, met us on top of Buffalo pass for our final night of good food and song. It was the perfect cap to a perfect Rally.
