2011 Owners’ Rally

Our 7th Annual EarthRoamer Owner’s Rally was held from August 25th – 28th, 2011 at Grand Mesa Colorado. In 2006 we attempted to hold our 6th Annual EarthRoamer Owner’s Rally on the Grand Mesa but a blizzard drove us to lower elevations after just one night. It was an epic experience for EarthRoamer owners warm and cozy in the XV-LT’s, much less so for the EarthRoamer employees who were tent camping!

The Grand Mesa is a large mesa in western Colorado about 40 miles east of Grand Junction. With an area of about 500 square miles it is the largest flat topped mountain in the world and has over 300 lakes scattered along the top of the formation. On top of the Mesa is the Grand Mesa National Forest, allowing recreational access to thousands of acres of public land. The mesa rises about 5,000 feet above the surrounding river valleys, including the Grand Valley to the west, reaching an elevation of about 11,000 feet, with a maximum elevation of 11,333 feet at Crater Peak. The Grand Mesa is flat in some areas, but quite rugged in others and much of the mesa is within Grand Mesa National Forest. On the Mesa you will find beautiful wildflowers in the summer and brilliant aspens in the fall. Moose, bear, elk, falcons, and many other kinds of wildlife populate the Grand Mesa.
